Cielo Event @ The BPM Festival in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico -Thursday, January 7th! - 2009/12/29 22:17The legendary NYC house music club Cielo will be invading the sunny beaches of the Mayan Riviera on January 7th, 2010, for The 3rd annual BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This will be the first time Cielo has officially participated in an event at BPM, and it's shaping up to be a top notch quality house music event. The event will be taking place at La Santanera, one of Playa's clubbing hotspots in downtown's fashionable Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). The club has a Mexican retro-tropical essence an open air rooftop encompassing facets of Mexican wrestling and "Santeria" (Caribbean voodoo). The lower level has a luminous bar in the middle of the main room with an excellent light show and always a packed dance floor.
Among the headliners Behrouz stands out as his own man playing his unique brand of techno, house and tribal all over the globe. Nicolas Matar, Cielo owner and resident DJ will also be making the trek to Playa. He is most well known for his sexy rhythms and deep grooves at his weekly Paradizo residency. Everyone's favorite west coast house legend, Marques Wyatt will be bringing his “Deep” party vibes that he has made famous in Los Angeles on Sundays for the past 10 years. Jojoflores will keep your body moving on the dance floor into the wee hours of the morning. He is also heading the Under One House camp which has been responsible for spreading the true message of house music through web-based technology where fans can connect and share ideas.
