It`s been quite a while since I posted anything here, too. I am from Detroit and partied hard during the 1998/99 years, especially 1999! I used to own an old building and we had many a rave there! Just as things were dying down in Detroit, I moved to sunny Florida! The scene here is never ending. I have found everything from underground parties to major club scenes. The clubs are pricy, but the party never dies. Some clubs don`t open until 5:00 AM! The Electronic Music Festival in Miami this spring was awesome! Almost 30,000 people were estimated to have attended. It was an all day party with 10 stages located on the oceans edge right in downtown Miami. Skyscrapers on one side, ocean on the other. Palm trees blowing in the breeze! Paul Okenfold, Crystal method and dozens of others played. It was incredible. Anyway, to make a long story short....get the fuck out of the midwest! Move to where the action is! Beautiful people, beautiful beaches, endless partying! The midwest is dead. If you stay there, you`ll die with it! Go to http://party931.com and listen to some music and start planning on coming down for the next annual music festival!
