New York DJ/Producer Alex Pearce Goes Club-Hopping
New RAW Residency Brings Dirty Electro Sound To A Different Venue Each Month
New York – New York house DJ Alex Pearce is boldly taking the monthly residency where it’s never gone before: To different venues.
Starting in May, new party RAW will feature Pearce’s patented blend of rough-edged electro- and tech-house, and will be held at a different underground, music-first spot each month. They range from urban retreat Water Taxi Beach (May), to internationally renowned house club Cielo (July), to a boat with the Pacha family (August).
Pearce’s star is increasingly on the rise, with a series of stints on the international circuit, high profile NY shows and the launch of his own Quarterlife Records imprint this year.

Alex Pearce loves house music. His signature style is a charged mix of electro and house that takes the crowd on a journey. His live sets create a unified sound meant to challenge the audience’s ears and make them want to dance their asses off. Top notch mixing, programming, and track selection have earned Alex the right to rock a crowd across the East Coast and South America with the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, Seb Fontaine, Behrouz and more. 2007 saw the release of Alex’s first big room tracks. “Carbon,” on Spice Cadet Recordings, is an edgy progressive stomper. “Purpose,” a collaboration with Tony Mugavero, is a peak-hour electro house banger released on Freq1see Records. Now with his own Quarterlife Records, Alex has an outlet for extending his NYC electro-house sound across the world. From his early experience promoting for Destiny Productions in Toronto, to running the Kinetic Records Street team in New York, Alex realizes that a crucial element of a successful party is the crowd. He became involved behind the scenes as well, organizing parties such as the Tribalism party at Centro-Fly, and becoming a partner of the Touched by a DJ production company.
