I`ve checked alt.rave since I`ve been back. The trip was wonnnnderful. I loved driving through Montana, and the Oregon and Washington coasts are beautiful. Could have done without most of California, but San Diego & San Fransisco were nice. Everything with the van went well. The only complications with the trip were when we got in an accident in Las Vegas (a minor one, but it is costing Kara 3,000 dollars) and when Kara got arrested in Ventura, CA. Don`t ever go there! And...if you do....keep in mind that the slogan of most of the locals who live there is "Come here on vacation...leave here on probation!" hehe Kara lost her shoes in San Fransisco and was shoeless for a week. Her feet had tons of blisters and cuts and she had no money for shoes. She stole some from Wal-Mart and got caught so she had to spend 24 hours in jail. It would have been a week or two if her mom didn`t bail her out. Crazy.
But yes, I had a great time. I just finished my second zine and there`s plenty of travel stories in it, so I`ll make sure to let all of you know when it`s available. I`m back in Lancaster now. We kidnapped a friend from Vegas and brought him home with us, and a very wonderful boy named Nathan Doom from Pittsburgh who kara and I are friends with is staying with us for a while. So, we`ve got a full house. AND another girl from AZ will be moving in at the end of the month. I`ve been keeping busy with projects: my zine, knitting, reading, writing music with my brother and such. so yep, there`s what`s happening with me.
