Today's Warm Up features Timmy Regisford (Area) Code & Club Shelter) with surprise special guests, Monique Bingham (King Street, Defected, Wave), and Duane Pitre.
Also known as "The Maestro," veteran New York DJ and producer Timmy Regisford is known for marathon-length, eclectic house sets that draw from upwards of twenty vinyls per hour. A purist when it comes to dance music, this Trinidad native has a predilection for deep, soulful tracks.
Born in New Orleans, Duane Pitre is an avant-garde composer and performer whose work focuses on the tensions between electronic sound and acoustic instrumentation, chaos and discipline, as well as issues of microtonality, site-specificity and performativity.
