★ Where you were born - Sunny Sheffield, Jessop’s Hospital to be precise.
★ Where was your Very first dj set - At a night called Trash in Sheffield. I filled in for Danny Rampling who cancelled on the day. I was so nervous.
★ When was your very first record deal - my first track to be released was on John Flemming’s JOOF label and it was called Resistance. Still love that track today.
★ A funny/ embarrassing dj moment - how long do you have. Probably the funniest was a lost weekend I spent with John Askew in Egypt about 4 years ago. It was basically a two day party at a mansion which just got more and more ridiculous as time went on. It ended with me hid behind the decks putting records on for John whilst he just stood there sweating profusely. If I ever write a book, that weekend will feature heavily (with names changed to protect the innocent, apart from John’s - he has never been innocent!).
★ Your favourite ever gig - the most spectacular was the Gatecrasher Millennium party. I will never top that
★ What is your most cherished vinyl record? I have a 7 inch soul classic by Daybreak called I need Love. It’s worth a few quid I gather.
★ If you weren’t a dj you would be .........a little more younger looking, a little fitter and probably a lot more boring. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
★ Who is your favourite DJ - Terry Wogan.
★ If you could have any kind of super power it would be......that’s an easy one, to fly.
★ If you were stranded on a desert island with one person... who would it be? My girlfriend Nina. She is my best buddy.
