Room 2 THIS IS YOUR MUSIC
On Monday Morning 4th May, Jaded kicks off its weekly summer season at Cable with a Bank Holiday Monday Special. Doors open at 4AM and we’ll be running right through until 2PM at Cable, so it will be a proper daytime session. For afterwards, we have selected a friendly local pub beer garden (with decks) in which to adjourn en masse – so your Bank Holiday Monday is taken care of. Bring on sunshine! Best of all it's all local, and easy walking distance.
More news on the line up next week, when can very nonchalently announce our surprise guest, [sense immense excitement here] but we are very proud to announce Dirt Crew, who'll be flying in from Berlin especially for the bank holiday Jaded children. Our amazing ressies Raymundo and Mouj will be in full effect, alongside Misstake's Alex Kleve who's celebrating his birthday. Air horns at the ready, let's go.
If you’ve not tried out Jaded at Cable yet, it’s our most supersonic home so far, we have grown in numbers and atmosphere from well over 700 party people at our launch to almost 1000 last bank holiday, and we are in love.
Some of our friends have tried to describe the experience for you:-
"I just love walking down the tunnel! It's like something from a harry potter film, if there was an adult version, they'd walk down the tunnel to another world, a world of fun and debauchery! I went exploring for the first time in Cable and decided it was a very cool space, a perfect mix of The End and AKA but with more space!" Lauren Austen, (Week IV)
"Loved my first Jaded at the giant, crystal clear boombox that is Cable. All DJs were superb, Mark Ashken especially, but for me the set of the session was surely Mouj and Ray's B2B at the end. Aural pleasure extraordinaire. No moody looking, Diggers-esque jocks here - they bounced and boogied and made every one of us joyous in our sacrifice of a Sunday morning lie-in. On the whole, our survey says...dynamite! Like the funky Tiger dude, it's a party that stands out from the crowd." Kim Donkersley, (Launch Party)
For our secret afternoon session, a stamp from Jaded will get your free entry. (Sorry, there will be no entry to the after-session without a magic Jaded stamp). ---------

Jaded at Cable Summer Opening Party May 3rd - 2010/04/22 18:50FAO Those who will not be satisfied unless there is raving throughout Bank
Whether you've been testing your stamina for 30 hours solid at Fabric, at Ministry for Minus, raving just around the corner at Eastern Electrics, at Matter for Superfreq and VVWI, or joining our friends East for Hybrid Life, there will be some among us who want to take things that little bit too far. If you're one of them, you've come to the right place.
For at Jaded this Bank Holiday Monday, we will be hosting an EXTENDED daytime session from 4AM - 2PM at Cable, followed by a secret afternoon afters complete with outdoor terrace action 2PM-6PM. So whatever time your Sunday night has its finale - a lush and richly textured daytime adventure still awaits...
Part I Jaded at Cable 4AM-2PM
Dirt Crew (James Flavour) flies in - to intense excitement from just about every DJ we know. It's the perfect booking for music lovers on the most hyped Monday of the year - their sound, described by RA as "a mixture of old school house and new school techno" will have us smiling at the playful genius at work. Check out their productions and scroll down for an amazing Sunday Evening Set here too. http://www.dirtcrew.net/v2006/news.php
Alongside Dirt Crew and our surprise headliner, Alex Kleve and Mouj will be joining original main Jaded resident Raymundo Rodriguez in the Main Room. All three consistently produce blinding sets at our afterhours but Bank Holidays are special because they get to share their very individual passions with a wider audience - expect to be captivated, entertained and irresitably swept forward by the three amigos.
In Cable's bar, prepare for raw new blood talent. Loop's Nice Guy Eddie and Samuel Bellisimo and Metrik's Dan Farserelli are taking over. Reports about the boys and recent sets are coming thick and fast along the easterly telegraph. We're looking forward to them making the bar their own for the bank holiday.
If you find yourself suddenly surrounded by new faces, never fear. Looks like lots of the Jaded crew will be coming fresh just for Monday - dont worry we are experts at catching up fast and we thrive off new faces - we think we are one of the most welcoming crowds you'll find.
Part II Secret Afternoon Terrace party 2PM-6PM
Due to limited capacity, this is just for people who've been to Jaded at Cable beforehand. We are invading our friendly neighbourhood boozer, complete with naughty beer garden, where we will get down in the sunshine whilst drinking pints. We are putting in our own system, and there are no restrictions, so expect a very lively afternoon, all within easy walking distance of Cable.
So whatever dancefloor you are on, please spread the gospel of Jaded, and come and join us for bank holiday monday supersonic dancing.
