AXWELL & SEBASTIAN INGROSSO AFROJACK / KIM FAI / AN21 / MAX VANGELI / DIE ANTWOORD As anticipation builds for the August Bank Holiday beats bonanza that is the L.E.D Festival, the team behind the event is set to announce a brand new arena headlined by two of Sweden’s biggest exports Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso as well as some more choice new additions who will be joining the likes of David Guetta, Leftfield, Soulwax, Goldfrapp, Calvin Harris and Aphex Twin to name a few.
One of the world’s biggest clubbing institutions Cream will be hosting their own arena on Friday 27th August and bringing with them an array of dance music heavyweights. First up we have Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, fresh off the back of two sell out shows at the legendary Brixton Academy. Renowned for delivering spectacular stage shows, festival goers can expect a wagon load of production and special effects for an awe inspiring show.
Axwell will be lighting up London with his ‘Heart’ Show performance. Devised, designed and built in Sweden, Axwell’s spectacular LED ‘Heart’ based around his logo stands at a gargantuan 6m high & 5m wide, the aluminium frame contains LED lamps whilst the inside is able to project visuals synced with Axwell’s specially composed tracks with the ‘Heart’ in mind.
Axwell debuted the ‘Heart’ 10,000 miles across the globe at the Stereosonic tour of festivals in Australia with fans videos posted online immediately captivating fans and the media alike. Exclusively for Axwell’s festival appearances, this will be the 1st time his loyal devotees in London will experience the must see ‘Heart’ surrounded by leafy Victoria Park juxtaposed urban East London and is set to be a show to remember.
Axwell says: “I want to bring something to the table, and give something back to the fans that give me so much love at my parties. They are the ones that allow me to continue to do what I love. Music.”
We can also announce another London festival exclusive from Sebastian Ingrosso who joins the bill performing in the Cream Arena. Another act to join the ever growing line up is Afrojack, one of the world’s hottest breakthrough electro artistes whose fans include the likes of L.E.D headliner David Guetta, Tommie Sunshine, Calvin Harris, Lil Jon and Tiesto. He will be showcasing the mixing manoeuvres that have been getting the clubbing world hot under the collar. Other new additions include Kim Fai whose surefire floor fillers are already causing a stir worldwide, rising star AN21 – Steve Angello’s younger brother, no less – continues the Swedish flavour whilst sometime AN21 remix partner Max Vangeli adds a touch of San Francisco style to complete the line-up.
Adding their weight to Saturday 28th August’s bill which already includes Leftfield’s first hometown show in more than a decade, Goldfrapp, Friendly Fires and a rare appearance from special guest Aphex Twin, will be South African sensations Die Antwoord. Famed for their ‘Enter The Ninja’ video that swept across the world in a blaze of ‘interweb’ glory earlier this year, Die Antwoord are a self-styled Zef-rap phenomenon. Plying their synth heavy riffs the genre-busting trio of Ninja, Yo-landi Vi$$ser and DJ Hi-Tek are set to take things to the next level with their stunning slang heavy flows and concrete beats.

It’s just 3weeks until London’s hottest dance festival aka L.E.D Festival lands in Victoria Park with one of the biggest electronic line ups London’s ever seen that includes the likes of Leftfield, David Guetta, Goldfrapp, Aphex Twin, Calvin Harris, Friendly Fires, Annie Mac, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso to name a few. As we gear up to the big one, we are pleased to announce an all new arena to the show. One of the UK’s coolest club nights ‘Pump Up The Volume’ will be hosting their very own arena, musically taking a nostalgic look back to the 90’s! To celebrate PUMP UP THE VOLUME hosting their own time transporting VIP arena on Saturday 28th August, beaming us to the 90’s when the noise levels hit 1.21 Gigawatts, L.E.D are encouraging all festival goers to dig out their 90’s clobber and fully submerge themselves into the 90’s!
