December, the start of the party season. What better way to begin by celebrating the 10th anniversary of the legendary Anjuna – at the pinnacle of the electronic scene for, well...ten years! We start in the main room with KYAU & ALBERT serving up their cutting edge trance. A style which is in-keeping with the melodic Anjuna prophecy, the duo will provide a soundtrack fit for any birthday. Joining them is NITROUS OXIDE, the legendary producer with a rare Ministry foray. MAT ZO is HOT property, after last month's Above & Beyond closing at Brixton Academy. Expect the same lucid tones with that added Anjuna energy! BART CLAESSEN also jets in, riding high on the success of new single '90 Nights Of Summer.' Signed to some imprint called Anjunabeats, its dark synths are a perfect reflection of the Claessen sound. Finally, the young pretender OLIVER SMITH comes to show he can cut the mustard, back after smashing the Box to pieces back in May. Excited? Well there's more to come...
Sister label Anjunadeep host the 103 Bar, with label cohorts 16 BIT LOLITAS in control. A fully fledged member of the family, their warm prog sound has melted many an Anjuna heart. JODY WISTERNOFF then takes over, his chunky offerings perfect for whipping up a large frenzy. Next up, Mr JAMES GRANT. He takes a day off from management duties to blast out his deep, tech laden grooves – on which Anjunadeep have made their name. Finally, RASCAL VAN RUSS brings the curtain down, his hypnotic synths a fitting end to ten fantastic years.
