FACT Mag will be streaming the gig live, as the first in a series of collaborative streams with XOYO, where we hold our regular club night. Details of how to watch will be revealed nearer the time.
The work of Gerald Donald (one half of Drexciya with James Stinson, and known under various aliases, including Rudolf Klorzeiger, Heinrich Müller and Der Zyklus), Dopplereffekt represents one of electronic music’s most secretive and mythologized projects, with very few interviews in existence. With Dopplereffekt, the mythology – and the science – is as vital as the music. And he doesn’t play live often.
Unknown to the Unknown, the current baby of Hot City’s DJ Haus and Mackaveli, will be hosting the show, with support coming from an Unknown to the Unknown Soundsystem sporting the considerable collective talent of Ali Renault, DJ Haus, Raf Daddy, Slackk, Wifey DJs, Nightwave, Capracara and more."
