The drug problem - 2006/06/10 17:31 to yield. ? President Thomas Jefferson. 1743-1826 options have been exhausted. one could argue that alcohol does more damage blah blah blah cause more accidents blah--ask yourself "in what proportion of auto fatalities would the state police report that the driver was nodding off on heroin or recklessly driving on coke?" (Q.Wilson) do you really believe that the number of people using H and stimulants will not dramatically increase when they are readily available at your local Sav-On? don`t get me wrong, i am an avid IV drug user. but pigs dont fly, and i`ve never seen a pink elephant. so chances are legalization isn`t going to happen (possibly for marijuana, but that is neither here nor there). the only way that the WOD would cease is if the country plunged into a deep recession, no longer having the funds to continue. the WOD is as deeply rooted as taxes and death. "have sex. do drugs. play videogames." "Politics is the shadow cast upon society by big business..."

Re:The drug problem - 2006/06/10 21:28 prohibition you can get it quite easily. Under legalisation the criminal profit is removed hence removing the aggressive marketing of the drug by viscious thugs. The attraction to the drug surrounding its illegality would be removed and almost entirely the crime associated with it`s use. Prohibition fuels the crime associated with the substance it seeks to prohibit. quite easily, so just what the hell is the law about? And more importantly what the heck difference would legalisation make, it would make a big difference but certainly not to the availability.

Re:The drug problem - 2006/06/11 02:59 you got it backwards. by saying things will never change and drugs will never be legalized, you`re the one who`s surrendering...think about it. i`m gonna fight for drug legalization until the day i die, mother fucker, and i will never surrender to the fascist xian neo-nazi amerikkkan dictatorship...
