CMP Radio Network - Chicago Music Promotions - 2007/01/16 06:31
Dear Friends,
I was invited here from someone not sure who yet. Anywho my name is matt i help independent artists and djs with promotions and exposure worldwide via my website and internet radio station. We have been available to the general public since October of 2005 and we have clocked over 1.9 million hits in that time range.
We are looking for artists and djs who would like to be featured on our internet radio station and website. If we like your mix and if you have a professional photo more then likely you will get approved. Please take a minute to check out the following information below.
Also do you have Secondlife.com? would you like to broadcast live ? do you have shoutcast or icecast? fast internet connection well first check out http://www.secondlife.com then register then contact us to let us know you are registered so we can contact you via the program.
If you already have secondlife on your computer do a search for Mattchicago cleanslate or search for a place called skybar nightclub (thats our 3d virtual nightclub..
For Mix Djs (nightclub or radio djs)
1. all mixes must be 30 minutes or longer
2. must be in mp3 format (for our flash mp3 players)
- extended (must be under 200MB for the filesize
3. you must include a liner (intro or exit to your mix so people know how to contact you personally).
4. you must give a plugger to Chicago Music Promotions or CMP Radio Network during your mix.
5. Your photo must be a professional photo (face) or it must be a professional website banner you have. (we really prefer face photos so people know what you look like for stage appearance type of thing.
6. on the thank you page make a donation for the radio station bandwith.
For Artists
1. you must own all copyrights to the song or compilation you are submitting.
2. you must have a professional photo
3. all songs must be in mp3 format
4. you must include who your publisher is (ascap, bmi, sesac etc).
5. Must purchase the minimal subscription package once your music has been approved. (you dont pay if we think your music sucks and we cannot market you or help you get your music heard.
6. Teen artists are free for promotions on the network.
