Re:London Clubs? - 2006/07/18 10:42 the end - drum n bass on friday nights (except the last friday of the month when steve lawler is on), and EXCELLENT techno/house nights on saturdays (Subterrain and Underwater are the best 2, plus if you like it funky Derrick Carter spins once a month (or maybe every 2)). always seems to attract a knowledgable crowd who are up for a good wiggle - check out www.the-end.co.uk fabric - drum n bass and hip hop on fridays (more often than not with breaks as well), house and techno saturdays (with a random room). i dont really like fabric cos whenever ive been there the crowd hasnt been all that (fridays have a great atmosphere but thats jungle so probably not of interest to you). still, its popular so what do i know. the fridge - music not my bag at all but i ended up there for logic a couple of weeks ago after a DJ shadow gig and it had the best crowd ive seen in ages (props to the guy who posted the flyer, if he reads this) - wicked atmosphere. generally its hard house/trance. fridays i think are still escape from samsara, which is in more of a goa trancey vein. plastic people - havent been there but ive heard good things - more on a "proper" house tip turnmills - friday night is the gallery, which was pretty trancey the last time i went, good atmosphere though. saturdays change but tom stephan is there once a month, as is city loud - both have great line ups. not sure if they have a website but they list their nights in most magazines and on clubbed.com, i think. well worth a look, cos it always seems to get in a good crowd. other places that ive been told are good are the arches (home of crash, and also elements) and the cross (one of my mates loves it there due to the room run by dusted, who play funky house, but ive never been). you could also try some bar type places like herbal or cargo, which stay open pretty late. if you want me to try and find out whats on on given dates or anything i can have a go - give me a shout.

Re:London Clubs? - 2006/07/18 10:55 Hi, that sounds good.
I would like to hear some Oakenfold- oder Tiesto-Sound. Or Sasha. Anything like this...

Re:London Clubs? - 2006/07/18 20:50 trance type stuff - ive seen people like sister bliss, paul van dyck, etc there. sasha plays a bit deeper than those guys - for that sort of sound you might want to try fabric on saturday - he plays there very occasionally, but tyrant boys craig richards and lee burridge are there most saturdays. if youre here on the first thursday of the month you could go to bedrock (john digweeds night) at heaven, which is pretty much essential if you like that sound. i also think you can probably ehar the kind of music yure after at the arches in vauxhall, but im not sure about that one.
