Chris James AKA Kristofferson has been producing for around 7 years making a mixture of music crossing genres from fidget house to electro with great success. He has had the support already from the likes of Arman Van Helden, Kissy Sell Out, Laid Back Luke and Riva Starr.
Now that Chris is riding his earlier success he wants to go under a new alias 'Kristofferson' which is where he wants to create original material that represents his deeper side. Takin Me Back is Kristofferson's first venture via Bakelite Beats.
Lost In Chicago uses a filtered disco sound that we love so much here and keeps it set to a low level with nice deep tones and percussive beats. This is a track that could be seen as a mood setter or after hours classic. 55 Gallon Drum is the collaborative work from Kristofferson and his buddy Tom Hanson. With it's floor friendly beats and nice melodic sounds that echo a west Indian vibe it is sure to gain a lot of attention from house music fans alike. The UK's south coast electro fidget boys Dirty Inc provide an imaginative twist to Lost In Chicago with a more energetic stamp on things that bump, wobble and attack the audio senses with pure dirty filth.
