UK outfit Vertigo (Jay C and one of London's most in-demand sound engineers, James Reynolds) do the radical updating on the Chordettes' 1954 vocal jazz hit, creating a bouncy and infernally catchy commercial club smash. Analog People In A Digital World achieve the near impossible in refashioning things into an organic, meandering underground dub.
