Onvimoon Records is proud to present the 4th album from one of the most talented producers ever to come from the USA: Frost Raven - Far From Home. San Francisco based producer, Frost Raven, is the solo project of Dustin Musser. His attention to detail in his production makes him stand out amidst the sea of mediocrity. A background of post-production sound, an ear for setting moods, and a desire not to stay locked into one genre, makes Frost-RAVEN unique. His music is sometimes described as magical, mysterious, and full of danger. A huge outdoor three-day festival, an intimate renegade party, or a fancy nightclub. It doesn't matter, he'll take care of the dance-floor.
Artist Profiles:
Frost Raven is the solo project of Dustin Musser, making waves in the San Francisco Bay Area’s whirling pool of talented electronic producers. With a background in post production audio and music theory, Dustin Musser is a very well versed producer.
In 2005 Frost Raven completed his first full album "Desert Walker" a multi-genre project including downtempo, old-school goa, and psy-trance. The album was released on the web through the digital label INgrooves.
In early 2007 he released an electro house EP called "Fire City" including the original track and remixes by MDFX and Ribotto.
Towards the end of 2008 marked Frost Raven's second album titled "Star Muse" which was released on the Digital Drugs Coalition label. This is the album that has gotten him noticed and many bookings. His approach to psychedelic trance made for a wild ride. Mixing electro and progressive elements together for a sweet entanglement of bliss and energy.
Frost Raven had worked with MDFX before in 2007 on the "Fire City EP", but 2009 marked their first true collaborative efforts. The two created "Ready Go!" a highly energetic electro-breaks track. This tune was very well received and released on Mizumo Music the same year, as well as featured in some videogames and iphone apps.
Wether he's rocking a huge outdoor three-day festival, or intimate renegade party, he's one act not to miss. Be on the look out for future releases from Frost-RAVEN.
