Sick! On The DanceFloor Presents Purrfect Electro - 2008/01/30 13:34
SICK! ON THE DANCEFLOOR PRESENT PURRFECT ELECTRO
2ND FEBRUARY 2008 SEONE CLUB, LONDON
Sick! On the Dancefloor is returning with a Northern invasion of London’s SeOne. But have no fear; any hostility between ‘Southern Softies’ and ‘Northern Monkeys’ will be brushed aside by the heavy reverbs being generated. For Sick! Is fast becoming one of the Capital’s top nights of electro/house debauchery, where all and sundry are united through the power of the bass.
Yes indeedy, North and South will collide at SeOne to beautiful effect. Leeds based supremoe’s of dance, Purrfect Electro, are heading down to Chas and Dave’s region of "Eels, Pies, Saveloys and Trotters" in an attempt to show us Southerners how dance is done.
Purrfect Electro was launched almost two years ago at Club Mission in Leeds and has since blossomed into one of the hottest and filthiest nights on the dance circuit. The nation has taken note...
Luminaries Micky Slim, Sebastian Leger, Martjin Ten Velden and Paul Jackson, are just a few of the faces who have brought beats to the masses at Purrfect Electro. So, expect the Northerners to bring a string of top talent to proceedings, in an attempt to show the Sick! crew how dirty house and electro are done "north utt’border".
A host of Sick! DJs will be countering the invasion with their own phat beats, including new regular and a fella fast becoming a favourite at Sick! Ed Kane. Kane don’t do things by ‘alf, and as well as battling away with his Northern adversaries, he’ll be spinning his yarn in the Techrum, the home of underground, minimal tech house on the night.
Joining Ed Kane will be young protégée Mark Ramsey. Anyone who’s anyone on the tech house scene will know of Ramsey’s rare ability to get social lepers off their arse; bouncing like a Spring lamb and gyrating with a stunner. Bass is a powerful tool my friends! Bass is a powerful tool!
All in all there’ll be three rooms on the night, as well as the Techrum and the raucous main, there’ll be Flirty Fresco, with “big, phat funking house”. The Dirty Funkers, Funky soldiers and the irresistible Miss Divine, will be bringing you the tippety-top in pumping, funky house.

SeOne… It’s just like Toys ‘R’ Us. There’s something for everyone all under one roof!
