Having unveiled the secrets behind the music testing hub that is AREA51 they go straight in to their second month having already shown Manchester what clubbing is all about. True to their word AREA51 have provided us with some sensational lines up in February and have kept us all clubbing till 9am in the morning. March is no exception.
The soon to become legendary Funktion one sound system welcomes a whole host of talent from right across the board. If you like Techno, Electro, Minimal or House AREA51 has it covered. With the best clubbing brands on a Friday, Underground music on a Saturday and a special Bank Holiday Sunday party with Azuil DJs Michael Gray and DJ Mags Best British Breakthrough act Deepgroove, March looks set to be a hot hot month.
Saturday’s at AREA51 have started to become a must visit event in Manchester, it’s hot line ups, banging sound system and a late licence gives clubbers something totally different from anything else in the city. Big news for this month, the exceptionally talented DC10, Space and Ministry of Sound resident Jo Mills becomes our new monthly resident and AREA51 are very excited to have her on board. She will join the impeccable line ups of talents which have been carefully handpicked for March’s shin digs that are sure to inject bundles of energy into any party and have you grooving into the early hours…
AREA51 are delighted to present rising star Robot Needs Oil (Cr2) for their 15th March party. This young fellow commands an enviable wave of support from all of the big players, thus far rubbing his dj-ing shoulders with the likes of Mark Brown, Nic Fanculli, Sander Kleineburg and Dubfire. He’s definitely one to watch out for. Also we have electro spinner and production wiz Suzy X on 8th March who will guarantee an injection of electro jems throughout her set with The Zoo Project posse also on hand providing unfaultable underground music to exercise your arms and legs all night long. As if that wasn’t enough, we also have Patrick La Funk starting off proceedings on 1st March providing plump, fleshy tech house and electro flavours, it’s only fair to say that it’s a totally unfaultable line up again this month at AREA51.
Fridays continue with the hottest clubbing brands in the UK. Kissdafunk, Bitch, Sex Toy and Filth. This month Kissdafunk bring you the raw talents of Sonny Wharton who’s 4 decks and two mixer show will have you jumping around like tigger on prozak. Bitch return with local boy done good Oliver Lang while Sex Toy bring us another sexy line up after packing the club out with Out of Office last month. Ending the month of Friday fun are Filth who have recently won ‘Best New Club Night’ in the Galaxy Nightlife awards, this month they give you two rooms of the best in electro and as they like to call it new skool thug house with Hoxton Whores, Boy 8 Bit and HeavyFeet.
From an underground basement disco haven, leading to an intimate party space to a New York cosy sofas throughout, AREA51 has perfect facilities for all night dancing as well as chatting and chilling too. With a music policy that guarantees the freshest and best underground sounds from its constantly evolving pool of talent, you are left wanting for nothing more! So we’ll see you on the dance floor…
