AREA51 has fast become one of the glowing lights in the Manchester dance scene. With its banging Funktion one sound system, its world class line ups and up for it party atmosphere that cant be rivalled anywhere in the city.
July’s Saturday Sessions saw AREA51 packed to the rafters with capacity crowds each week, thanks to the likes of Jo Mills, Daley Padley, Henrik B and a monstrous residents party.
Keeping the party flowing the AREA51 crew have put together yet another stonking line-up for August full of new talent, tasty, banging beats and the inaugural good times that have become part of the furniture for this relatively new club on the scene...

Justin Robertson – 9th August – A Native of Manchester Justin Robertson's career in dance music dates all the way back to the Madchester days when he was spinning at clubs like Spice and Most Excellent, often frequented by two lads called Tom and Ed who would later become The Chemical Brothers.
As a DJ, Justin wears several hats besides the naff one on his head. Regulars to London nights Bugged Out and Together will be familiar with his mixture of ravey acid techno and electronic house while those who frequent Gay Mod and Sunday Best will know him for his eclectic sets of reggae, northern soul and pop.
In the studio, Robertson has reworked Bjork, Felix Da Housecat, Chicken Lips and Kiki & Silversurfer. He also released an album of primitive house and new wave disco 'Justin Robertson presents Revtone' on Nuphonic in 2001. Robertson also penned 'Push and Shove' the gospel-tinged song on Fatboy Slim's fourth album 'Palookaville'.
Area51 are excited to welcome him back to Manchester for a night charged with emotion and atmosphere….

Smokin Jo – 30th August - The only female to win DJ magazine's highly coveted DJ OF THE YEAR AWARD, Smokin Jo is one of the most talented DJ / Producers to emerge from the British dance music scene for the last ten years. Jo's undeniably funky and uplifting sound has carved her a niche in club land.
From there she went on to play at many of the UK clubs Cream, Pushca, Ministry of Sound, Renaissance, Progress, Sign of the Times and Miss Moneypennies. She also played for the infamous Boys Own, Betty Ford Clinic and to a crowd of 30,000 people at Tribal Gathering, where she attributes as one of the most memorable and amazing experiences.
As the scene has changed Jo has changed with it, playing for Tribal Sessions, Shindig, The End and Fabric while regularly playing every summer in Ibiza DJing at clubs like Space, Pacha, El Divino and Privilege. This will be here AREA51 debut as she takes us a on a dark and mystical journey through her deep and twisted sounds…..Expect the unexpected
Residents Parties – 2nd 16th & 23rd – After two very successful resident parties back in June and July that saw AREA51 at it busiest which a regular crowd going mental for the likes of Daley Padley and Victor Valsko. This month we do it not one not twice but three times with these parties all set to showcase the best of what the Manchester party scene has to offer. This month we welcome back residents Daley Padley, Victor Valasko, Mister S, Curious George, Tempered DJ’s, Neil James and Da Guy plus many more. All will be on hand to cause utter devastation on the AREA51 dancefloor. Do not miss out on the summer madness………..
