One of NYC's most active minimal techno DJs and promoters, Taimur is a major force shaping the scene. His deep DJ sets are a late night staple in NYC's underground. With partner Fahad, he has helmed the Blk|market Membership parties for over two years, producing over 50 events that have hosted some of techno's biggest names and brightest up-and-comers at locales like cielo, bar 13 and L.O.V.E. In cahoots with Crazy Larry, Taimur also produces the Cheap Sunglasses parties, which have become instant impact events at major techno nodes such as the Winter Music Conference, Detroit Electronic Music Festival and San Fran's Love Parade. Definitely the hardest working red head in the reggae scene! Liondub is producer, label-head, DJ, event promoter, designer and DJ - a one man wrecking crew who operates in 4 distinct scenes, makes himself felt internationally, and in the meantime holds down 5 weekly DJ Gigs here in NYC. He's no joke dedicated and is bringing all that energy and love for his craft to his sections at halcyon.

Breakbeat Science, the US authority on Drum and Bass / Dubstep, now operates from within halcyon the shop, adding yet another faction of the DJ underground being supplied weekly with fresh import vinyl weapons from our Dumbo location.
