Without doubt London’s No.1 open air clubbing space, Greenwich’s finest new venue THAT are putting their defining feature to fine use as they announce the latest addition to their calendar, the Terrace Sessions. Following an unofficial launch party on May 3rd, which saw without doubt London’s coolest underground party, secretsundaze kick off their own ’09 season, THAT present their first official Terrace Sessions party on May 24th, and featuring House legend ATFC and Space Ibiza resident, Jonathan Ulysses. Taking place on Saturday and Sunday daytimes throughout summer, Terrace Sessions will bring you the freshest underground DJ’s from London and beyond, with incredible secret parties and surprise guests thrown in along the way…
After a full refurb throughout, which has also seen the installation of a brand new, 30K, ‘Nexo Alfa’ sound system, THAT is back, bigger, better and louder than ever this month, and as the weather heats up, so do the line ups…
With monthly residents, and internationally renowned party brand, In Bed with Space, wisely choosing the only venue in London capable of teleporting your mind straight to Bora Bora to house their events, as well as THAT regulars Kinky Malinki and Deluded, and exclusive, jaw dropping new additions such as the Amnesia Club Tour all lined up to host Terrace sessions over the summer months, you’ll find no better place to nurse even the darkest Ibiza blues.
With a 700 person capacity solely on the terrace, including it’s very own sound system, outdoor bar, dancing stage and massive expanse of paving, THATs outdoor space could become a superclub of it’s own, and as the days get longer and nights get shorter, you’ll have no reason to party indoors until October. With not only a name change, but a new ethos entirely, you can expect the quirkiest promotions and big London DJs dropping by, covering the entire electronic spectrum, from progressive to techno, and from uplifting house to the dirtiest undergournd beats.
