Re:Electric Zoo New York Announces Deadmau5, Tiga, Busy P, Steve Aoki, And More - 2009/06/25 20:20Electric Zoo New York has added three more names to the already stacked Sunday line-up. German trance superstar ATB comes armed with fresh music from his new double album Future Memories. A DJ that has toured the world over, ATB champions a distinct trance sound while providing some of the most memorable music of the last decade . Israel's own ambassador of electronic music GUY GERBER is stirring up electronic audiences with his anthemic releases on the likes of Cocoon, Bedrock and his own imprint Supplement Facts. BBC Radio 1's HEIDI has been making quite a name for herself recently. Every fourth Friday of the month she brings the sounds of stripped down techno and bass jackin house to the extended Radio 1 audience with In New DJ's We Trust . This Berlin transplant has quickly gained the respect of the entire techno community with her consistent appearances at the world's largest festivals and most prestigious clubs.

Electric Zoo Goes Green : Set-Times, Sonic Forest - 2009/09/01 23:28ELECTRIC ZOO GOES GREEN with 80% of the power on site fueled by biodiesel, manufactured locally in Brooklyn from 100% soybean. The husk of the soybean is used to make the fuel and the rest goes back into the food chain. Biodiesel creates 78% less carbon emissions than petroleum. There will be recycling bins throughout the site for bottles & cans and the cups being used for serving wine & beer are biodegradable for the trash. We'll also be recycling cardboard, which will mostly be from backstage and vendor usage.
We encourage everyone to use public transportation! It's more earth-friendly and parking space is limited, so if you use public transportation, you won't have to worry about the hassle of arriving to a possibly full parking lot! For all your transportation options, please check the MAP & DIRECTIONS section of the site at: www.electriczoofestival.com.
