Welcome back! Filth is back at Leeds’ Mint club in September 12th to stir it up once again, this season heading in a new direction with Alex Kenji leading the way. Having already successfully championed the fidget and dirty electro sound in Leeds over the last 18 months, this DJ and production star is the perfect man to freshen things up and offer something a little different to the Filth faithful.
His DJ sets offer an impeccable tech-house selection ranging from deep grooves to more techno oriented tunes, all designed to rock the dance-floor to its foundations. For ten years he’s worked under many guises and has had his tunes championed by Pete Tong, JUSTICE, Sasha & John Digweed and Sharam (Deep Dish), all the while playing at clubs across the globe, and running two hot record labels - 303Lovers and Hotfingers.
With a centrally located DJ booth, a world beating Function ONE, the futuristic LED walls and smoke machines of Leeds’ sharpest venue in Mint club all ready for some action tonight, it’s sure to be a welcome return home after a mad first season out in Ibiza. Expect the sexy dancers, electric atmosphere and pretention free fun pursuits of Filth’s clued up crowd to carry on exactly where they left off back June.
All this comes backed by promoter, DJ and full on hedonism enthusiast Danny Savage, who has nurtured this party from but a small idea, into one of the biggest nights in the north which has had praise from Mixmag, Galaxy and DJ Mag recently. Previously pushing the unique fidget sound, Filth treads a more tech house path in coming months with Arno Cost and recent Essential Mixer Style of Eye soon to appear. It’s time you joined them on their most enjoyable trip.
