One of the pioneers of the dance music revolution, Paul Oakenfold comes to matter this October as part of a lengthy world tour that crossed over 25 countries. In addition to supporting Madonna around the world, Paul has been in the studio producing the bonus tracks for her brand new greatest hits album out now. "Cutting edge sounds combined with classic Madonna" says Oakenfold of the direction they're going in.
Touted as being one of the most versatile artists in the business, Paul has built up an impressive resume composing music for film, TV, and video games. Recently, Paul has scored three films, composed the theme to the hit TV show ‘Big Brother’, and contributed tracks to the recent feature film ‘G-Force’.
Paul continues to work on his new album which will be released in 2010 and features collaborations from RHCP, Ryan Tedder, and Ce-Lo. His previous two solo releases have sold over 2 million in the US alone and he has worked with everyone from Justin Timberlake to U2. In 2007, Oakenfold released his Greatest Hits & Remixes that included radio smashes ‘Starry Eyed Surprise’ and ‘Ready Steady Go’.
