This popular dance anthem features an unusual mix of a karaoke singer and two well known dance music producers.
Karaoke singer Amanda Wilson was found by the other two members of this team. Russell Small, who is previously known as half of the 90s group Phats & Small and James Wiltshire, who has worked in the pat with Donna Summer, Texas and Kylie Minogue create of interesting mix of musical know how.
Starting out with Julie Moore's famous hit "This Time Baby" this odd threesome have created a really good sounding disco-pop style house track. They have created one of those songs that sound as good on your car CD player as it does on the dance floor at the dance club. Overall they have not created anything new here, but only added to a flavor of house music that is getting to be more popular these days.
The Amazing vocals by Amanda Wilson completely explain the risk that the other two took when signing her to a record deal. Isn't it nice to know that maybe one day you might be discovered at the karaoke bar? I better go and brush up on my rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. |
