Dance Music's vibrant remix twosome begins this track by using one of their best and ucommonly used tricks: the Eno imitation.
Surprisingly, they beef up the Eno replication turning the hi-hat to the upper limit, but not closing it up at the end so as to keep the flow. This is in stark contrast to their normal path of plunging out of the Eno and into the normal disco house sound that they are known for.
Toward the end of the remix, everything falls together in a somewhat chaotic sound of the recognizable.
James and Tim of DFA seem to once again be challenging themselves and expanding their horizons.
This is the farthest we have seen them stray from the norm in quite some time. |
